Meetings

Here’s the schedule of upcoming meetings. We meet the first Thursday of every month, except December, at 6pm. We are on the second floor of the Rockwall County Library, 1215 E Yellow Jacket Lane in Rockwall. Be sure to check the schedule regularly. We will often have live speakers or special programs that can change our schedule.

  • August 6 – Georgia: Gateway to Western Expansion by Rory Cathcart
    Learn how to research and where the gems are hidden that tell about this oldest of southern states
  • September 3 – Live Presentation by a librarian from the Library of Congress in Washington DC
  • Library of Congress librarian AJ is going to join us via Zoom to describe the many collections that are available online.
  • October1 – British Genealogy Online by Rick Crume
    Discover where to look for online church records, census records, and newspapers across the pond.
  • November 5 – Resolving Conflict by Jennifer Zincke
    Ever had two different dates for the same event in your ancestor’s life? Jennifer helps us untangle that web!
  • December – No meeting. Merry Christmas!
